Financial Services Breakfast Seminar - A Success Enjoyed By All - 29.04.2008
Angela Knight CBE Chief Executive, British Bankers Association
“Where is Banking going following the sub-prime crisis?”
On Thursday 11 April, Parkwell were pleased to welcome 40 key executives and decision makers from London’s financial services sector to the Grocer’s Hall, opposite the Bank of England in the heart of the City.

Breakfast was enjoyed by all
Following an excellent breakfast, the main event was a speech delivered by Angela Knight. As Chief Executive of the BBA, and formerly head of APCIMS, Angela has a unique insight into the financial services community and specifically the tripartite regulatory agreement between HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the FSA.
Angela’s views of the various issues that have impacted the banking community in recent months were, as always, entertaining and informative. The audience were enthused, both during her speech and during numerous questions from the audience. These questions including querying the banking credentials of senior executives, to seeking Angela’s views on the sustainability of the current City remuneration policies.
